Man Refuses To Give Up Louis Vuitton Bag To Armed Robber

Jerad Kluting really loves his Louis Vuitton bag. He is even willing to take a bullet for the $1,700 bag. Kluting was walking home in Holland Township, Michigan when a masked man pulled a gun on him and demanded his bag.

Kluting refused to hand over his bag so the robber fired three shots in his direction. He said that he thought the first two were warning shots but believed that the final shot was aimed at him. Luckily, the last shot missed and the robber ran off. Police tracked down the 21-year-old suspect driving away from the scene. They pulled him over and found a stolen handgun in his possession.

Kluting spoke with WOOD-TV and explained why he refused to hand over his bag.

"I paid $1,700 for it or thereabouts… I love Louis Vuitton and I saw this bag long before I could buy it and I saved up my money to buy it. It means a lot to me… It represents me. I wasn’t about to relinquish my personal property.”

He added that if the robber wants his bag "he can pry it out of my cold dead hands."
