Eric Clapton Live History is a photographic overview of Eric Clapton's stage career.
Available in three formats, the coffee-table book contains more than 275 photos, taken of him at age 19 through this year.
Most of the photos have never before been published, including some from The Yardbirds’ 1964 tour. There are also previously unseen photos from his days with Cream,Delaney & Bonnie and Derek & The Dominos.
The book sells for just under $200, with two fancier options.The Journeyman($376) comes with a photographic print suitable for framing and a live double-LP from Eric's solo career.
The Fool($720), limited to 300 numbered copies, has a leather cover imprinted with an image of Clapton's Cream-era Fool guitar, a print of him playing the guitar and a live double-vinyl Cream album. The vinyl records are official releases that have been purchased by the publisher for inclusion in the deluxe editions.
Bobby Whitlock, the singer and keyboardist in Derek & The Dominos, wrote the foreword.
Thepublisherwill donate 45% of the profits to charity.
