Surviving Nirvana Members Reunite At Cal Jam
Turns out fans were right about the Foo Fighters’ many hints on social media that a Nirvana reunion was underway for Cal Jam Fest in San Bernardino, California over the weekend.
Dave Grohl was joined onstage at the festival during the band’s headlining set by surviving Nirvana members Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear. In place of the late Kurt Cobain, John McCauley from Deer Tick and punk legend Joan Jett took over on vocals.
Together they rocked a six-song set of Nirvana favorites, with McCauley singing “Serve The Servant,” “Scentless Apprentice” and “In Bloom,” and Jett taking the stage for “Breed,” “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and “All Apologies.”
