Adult film star Stormy Daniels was arrested for allowing a customer to touch her during a routine at a Columbus, Ohio strip club. That’s the word from her attorney, Michael Avenatti, who reported the arrest on Twitter late last night. Calling it desperate and politically motivated, Avenatti offers, quote – “She was arrested for allegedly allowing a customer to touch her while on stage in a nonsexual manner! Are you kidding me?"
There is a law dancers from touching customers and vice-versa. Then…the charges got dropped. Why? Because the law pertains to someone who, quote, "regularly appears nude or semi-nude" at a club. Stormy's lawyer told the judge that Daniels "has not appeared consistently and repeatedly" at that club…so, the judge let her off the hook. Although…I'm sure she would have been happy with a trial…as long as it ended with a hung jury……
Of course, Daniels says she had an affair with President Trump back in 2006 and was paid 130-thousand dollars to keep quiet about it just ahead of the 2016 election. Avenatti calls the misdemeanor charge “bogus” and questions the use of law enforcement resources for the arrest.
