If you've been following the story on Splash Landing in Bettendorf, you know they've had MAJOR issues with the repainting of the pool in September of last year. Now, the city says the pool will remain closed for the rest of the season. The paint has steadily deteriorated, causing "foggy water," which is a safety hazard. Swimming lessons, lap swims, private rentals, and paid parks programs will continue on, as schedule, however.
