Quad City Animal Welfare Center Kitten Shower

QCAWC Adoption & Education Center

The Quad City Animal Welfare Center (QCAWC) is gearing up for kitten season and is inviting the community to a Kitten Shower on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from Noon to 4:00 PM at the QCAWC Adoption & Education Center, located at 724 2nd Ave. West, Milan, IL.

Each year, the QCAWC takes in hundreds of kittens in need of care, and this event will help provide essential supplies to support these tiny, vulnerable lives. The Kitten Shower is a fun and engaging way for the community to come together and make a difference.

Event Highlights include: Games, Refreshments, Raffles, Adoption Specials, and a Donation Drive!

Attendees are encouraged to bring an item from the QCAWC Kitten Wish List Registry https://qcawc.org/donate/donate-for-kitten-care and will receive a FREE raffle ticket as a thank-you for their support.

“The Kitten Shower is a wonderful way to engage the community while preparing for the influx of kittens we expect in the coming months,” said Patti McRae, Executive Director of QCAWC. “We rely on donations to provide these kittens with the care they need, from food and formula to medical treatment and foster support.”

The event is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend. Whether you bring a donation, adopt a pet, or simply come to enjoy the festivities, your support helps save lives.
