Brian Johnson had to take a break from AC/DC while he battles a hearing issue but that doesn't mean he's out of the loop. The rocker sent a message to Swedish fans of the band who are raising money for Alzheimer's research in honor of former AC/DC member Malcolm Young.
“I know Malcolm would be so proud of you," Johnson says of the guitarist who left the band in 2014 after being diagnosed with dementia. "I am and I want to thank you for doing this. We’ve tried to tell people about this awful disease, tried to get a cure for it. You guys are helping and I’m so proud of you.”
Money is being raised through a special AC/DC event entitled Acdcmachine Gathering 2017.
