John Sloan Coffee House

Calendar Of Events

The Galva Arts Council will host their 4th Annual John's July Coffee House on July 3 from 6:30 – 9:30 in Wiley Park. This is a family friendly event featuring talented local musicians and light refreshments. This event honors GAC founder John Sloan, who loved the Fourth of July, music and people. This is a night of heartfelt tunes and singalongs inspired by the late Galva native. Refreshments will be provided and Messiah Lutheran Church will hold their 26th Annual Pork Chop/Ice Cream Social from 5pm to 7pm.

Area musicians will take part in helping kick off Galva's Freedom Fest. “The first two John's July Coffeehouses have been so much fun, we've got to keep this ball rolling!" said Tom Campbell, GAC Board Member. "Everybody involved has such a great time." Anyone interested in performing can contact Tom at (309)644-2542, tomcampbell@mymctc.net or through the Galva Arts Council Facebook page. "All are welcome to share their talents, no resume required," says Campbell.
