The Muscatine Amateur Radio Club will be participating in Field Day in 2022. ARRL Field Day is the most popular on-the-air event held annually in the US and Canada. On the fourth weekend of June, more than 35,000 radio amateurs gather with their clubs, groups or simply with friends to operate from remote locations. The event runs for 24-hours. The general public is invited to stop by and see what it's all about, and even get a chance to get "On-The-Air" and make a contact or two. The object is to work as many stations as possible on any and all amateur bands, and to learn to operate in abnormal situations in less than optimal conditions.
