Celebrate American Independence and beat the heat while eating Ice Cream, listening to music, while you are in the shade and the kids are playing in the playground! All of this is embedded in the display of over 845 Veteran Memorial Flags! This experience is Americana at its best! It feels like you are in a Norman Rockwell painting and must be lived to be believed! The Ice Cream Social is freewill offering and the concert is free! Come early and have lunch at the co-located Kiwanis "Pork in the Park" Pork Fry! This is Maple City Band's only public fundraising event during 2022. All other concerts support other organizations! Maple City Band is an unpaid, volunteer band. It is composed of students, working adults, and retirees in roughly equal percentages.
