Bruce Springsteen has been taking over stages across the globe for decades, and now, he's taking over the big screen!

According to NME, the icon recently partnered with Disney+ and Hulu to create a concert documentary titled Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, slated for release this fall. The highly-anticipated project zooms in on Springsteen's ongoing tour, "Springsteen & E Street Band 2024 World Tour," and is directed by longtime collaborator Thom Zimny.

The documentary will feature a handful of exclusive content including intimate rehearsal footage and never-before-seen news interviews. Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band "opens a new door to Springsteen’s creative process for fans around the world, sharing fly-on-the-wall footage of band rehearsals and special moments backstage — as well as hearing from Springsteen himself ” (per a press release obtained by NME). The source continued:

“These conversations follow Springsteen closely as he develops the story he wants to tell with this tour’s setlist — interspersed with rare archival clips of the E Street Band, underscoring themes of life, loss, mortality and community. In this way, it serves as an essential and never-before-seen chapter in an autobiographical series spanning Springsteen’s memoir Born to Run, Springsteen on Broadway, and the films Western Stars and Letter to You.”

As if a world tour and the creation of a concert documentary wasn't exciting enough, The Boss is also working on a biopic titled, Deliver Me From Nowhere, that is in the early stages of production.

The standout kicked off the European leg of his 2024 tour last week and is slated to perform in Cork, Ireland on Thursday, May 16! An exact release date for Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band has yet to be announced, but we can expect it sometime in October.
