The Bottom Line: John Lennon's murderer will remain behind bars
The man who murdered John Lennon is denied parole for a 10th time.
Now 63-years-old, Mark David Chapman went before New York's parole board earlier this week hoping to be granted parole, but has been denied yet again.
Chapman shot and killed the Beatles singer outside of his Manhattan apartment in 1980. He's currently serving 20-years-to-life at the Wende Correctional Facility in Alden, New York. He'll be eligible again in 2020.
