The Eagles took the stage in Las Vegas this weekend where they performed their classic album “Hotel California” in its entirety for the first time ever! The Friday and Saturday concerts were the first two of three sold out shows at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.
In addition to the title track, the album contains such classic songs as “Life in the Fast Lane,” “New Kid In Town,” “Wasted Time,” and “Victim of Love.” (Scroll down to see the set list below).
The night featured a 45-piece orchestra, conducted by Jim Ed Norman, who conducted the orchestra for the original album, and also featured a 22 member choir from UNLV.
But the show wasn’t only about “Hotel California.”
The band also performed many of their hits, including “Desperado,” “Take it to the Limit,” “Lyin Eyes,” “Take it Easy” “Life’s Been Good,” ‘Heartache Tonight” and “Peaceful Easy Feeling,” as well as the Don Henley solo hit “Boys of Summer" and more.
The guys must have been having a blast! Evidence: the show clocked in at a little over 3 hours and 20 minutes (including intermission) making it one of the longest -- if not the longest -- shows they’ve ever played.
