Nominees for the 2019 American Music Awards were just announced and some classic artists received a little love.
Elton John, who is currently on his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour,” is nominated in the Tour of the Year category, where he’ll compete with BTS, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and Pink.
Meanwhile,Queen is also in the running for an award, with the soundtrack to “Bohemian Rhapsody” recognized in the Favorite Soundtrack category, where it will compete with Lady Gaga’s“A Star Is Born” soundtrack and the soundtrack to “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.”
The 2019 AMAs will air November 24th on ABC, live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
