While Cars frontman Ric Ocasek and estranged wife Paulina Porizkova seemed to have still had a good relationship following their split, that may not have been the case. The late singer’s will has now been made public, and apparently he cut the supermodel out of it.
“I have made no provision for my wife Paulina Porizkova (“Paulina”) as we are in the process of divorcing,” he wrote in a will dated less than a month before his death. “Even if I should die before our divorce is final … Paulina is not entitled to any elective share … because she has abandoned me.”
Ric and Paulina announced their separation in May of 2018 after 28 years of marriage. It was Paulina who found the rockers body back in September.
Documents show Ric’s assets include $5 million in “copyrights,” but only $100,000 in “tangible personal property” and $15,000 in cash. Two of his six sons were left out of the will, although they aren't the two he had with Paulina.
