With the announcement that the San Diego Chargers will no longer be in San Diego, the number of people tagging themselves as ex-fans has skyrocketed. San Diego tattoo parlors and tat removal shops soon noticed their phones ringing off-the-hook with peeps hoping to erase or remove their Chargers’-themed ink – and are capitalizing on the “Golden State” opportunity.
Some shops are offering a 50% discount on any work to disguise a Charger, bolt, or shield tattoo. As for full-on removals, biz will be booming there, too. While some shops are offering to remove the troublesome ink for a flat 100-bucks, others are offering a discount along with a free consultation. It’s a good thing no one in Los Angeles will be a fan long enough before the team decides to move again!
Hey, at least they didn't get tattoos that said "World Champion Dallas Cowboys"...
