Utah has some dumb-ass laws, and Senator Daniel Thatcher wants to review them all and lose them forever. The laws in question are “Class B Misdemeanors” that can carry up to six months in jail. The crimes to be reviewed include: holding a racoon, allowing a pig to run free, library theft, election wagering, livestock harassment, unlawful tattooing of a minor, illegal paleontology (yes, that’s a thing), and the illegal selling or gifting of clove cigarettes.
