Let me preface this story with the fact that I LOVE Chick-Fil-A! Both of my children work there and I can't say enough great things about the company. That said...
The Atlanta Falcons open their new stadium this season and—as with every new stadium—there are always a few unforeseen scheduling conflicts.
And while this won’t affect any of the lovers of the birds’ eight home games, it will affect fans of a different bird on seven of those home games.
Because if you’re a fan of Chick-Fil-A, I have some bad news, you will only get one chance to enjoy it this season at the new Mercedes-Benz Dome.
There is a Chick-Fil-A restaurant inside the NFL’s newest venue but—as any Chick-Fil-A fan notes—they are closed Sundays.
And the one inside the Mercedes-Benz Dome will be no exception.
So circle the Thursday night game on December 7th as it will be Falcons fans only chance to get their Chick-fil-A fix during the regular season.
Of course, they have two preseason home games—on Saturday, Aug. 26 and Thursday, Aug. 31—when they can also get the their Chick-fil-A “on.”
But really, those games are so bad, they make one lose their appetite.
