Shawn Simmons of Buffalo still cannot get over what he saw on October 26.
“Pure adrenaline was running through my veins and I can’t even believe this really happened,” Simmons tells KWQC.
“I was going out bow hunting for the first time this year and after about 10 minutes in the tree stand I seen this bobcat sprint across the timber. I’ve never seen a land animal move so fast in my life.”
Simmons saw an adult bobcat and two kittens on the move in the daytime, which the Iowa Department of Natural Resources is unusual for a reclusive animal that tends to be active at night.
