Now that Thanksgiving is here, we can start decorating for Christmas. While you’re dragging out all your old tinsel and baubles, why not upgrade your evergreen with some new ornaments this year - courtesy of KFC? Yep, the fast food chain now has their own fried chicken Christmas ornaments.
"We're now making Christmas wishes come true for fans with this exclusive range of
#KFChristmas decoration," Clark Wilson, KFC's Marketing Director, says in a statement. "Forget the mistletoe this year – these naughty and nice decorations are sure to make the magic happen when you grab a drumstick off the tree and hold it overhead."
The ornaments come in a set, which includes: a drumstick, a chicken wing, a carton of fries, a bucket of chicken and a sort of creepy ornament of Colonel Sanders’ face. But there’s a catch - you can only get these KFC ornament sets in at locations in New Zealand. So the rest of us will just have to deal with a Christmas tree that’s KFC ornament-free, once again this year. Bah humbug.
