Stats compiled by Gas Buddy have determined that American drivers will have the privilege of paying more than 3 bucks-a-gallon for fuel on a national average. That would be a 50-cent-per-gallon increase from last year. When you do the math, that figures out to $1,318 between May and September if you burn through 90-gallons each month like the average American. That’s $250 more than last year. And gas prices could go even HIGHER if there's suddenly some unrest in the middle east...But, hey, what are the odds of that, right?!?
