If you're going to Tuesday's Quad City River Bandits game against Cedar Rapids, go early and you might just get to throw out the first pitch! They're actually offering that up to the first 100 fans through the gate...however, it's also a Mystery Bobble Head Giveaway that night...and by doing the first pitch, you forfeit the bobble head.
I've thrown out the first pitch a couple of times. Let me give you some advice:
1) Those catchers are used to catching 90mph+ fastballs...don't worry, you can throw it hard...
2) If you don't throw it hard enough, you risk falling short of home plate...which will cause the crowd to boo...
