Pro Tip: Always Wear A Mask When Robbing A Store

Stupid Criminal Files

When it comes to thieving, there are some basics: Apparently, Quincy Gerrard Petty didn’t get the memo. Petty is accused of walking into a Minnesota Dollar Tree and ordering the staff to hand over the case. Unfortunately for him, he forgot to pull down his mask – and one of the employees recognized Petty as the boyfriend of one of the store’s clerks. While he reportedly made off with around 2-grand in cash, police say he was also found wearing the same Bob Marley hat that witnesses described. Not only that, officers also say they recovered a crumpled envelope with the word “robbery” written on it…from Petty’s pockets. Not surprisingly, Petty denies everything. As for his girl, she’s giving him an alibi and says the accusation is all a set-up…and it’s retaliation for a complaint she’d filed against the store. Good luck with that, kittens.

Man Steals Bike In Front of Police Station, Gets Arrested: Police in Gladstone, Oregon, were shocked when they spotted a man seemingly attempting to steal a bike from their own police station.Surveillance video shows suspect Adam Valle, 26, wearing a mask as he cuts the lock off the bike with a bolt cutter, just before Sergent Matt Okerman walks out to confront him. The suspect was apprehended shortly after. When asked why he would try to steal a bike in front of a police station, Valle would not answer.

Man Assaults Convenience Store Clerk With A Banana: Working at a convenience store is not an easy gig. A 26-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after he assaulted a store clerk with a banana. Police say Rogelio Tapia chased the employee around the store and threw the fruit and other items after the clerk got involved with a fight he was having with his girlfriend. Tapia wasn't going down easy either as one officer had to tackle him in an attempt to handcuff him. The suspect caused around $1000 in damage. Tapia was charged with assault on persons in certain occupations, assault, third-degree criminal mischief and interference with official acts.
