Congratulations go out to Nataly Buhr, the valedictorian at San Ysidro High School in San Diego. During her graduation speech, she took the time to rip several members of the school staff and burn just about any bridge she might have there. On her hit list? The school counselor who was “never available,” the administrators “whose negligence to inform (her) of several scholarships until the day before they were due potentially caused (her) to miss out on thousands of dollars,” and an “alcoholic teacher” who was supposedly walked out of the school by police. Not sparingly, school spokesperson Manuel Rubio thought the speech was “inappropriate and out of line.” He didn’t say it was wrong, though. You can watch her speech below...
A few weekends ago, I went to my niece, Marissa's, graduation from Penn High School in the South Bend, Indiana, area. They had 12 valedictorians...each of which gave a short 2 to 3 minute speech. One of the speeches stood out...as anger filled her voice, it got VERY uncomfortable! I'm sure there were some people squirming in their seats during THIS speech, as well...
