Stop Sharing Your Streaming Passwords! Here's Why

In case you haven’t figured it out for yourself, sharing the password to your various streaming services with others isn’t a good idea. That’s the word from David O’Brien, a senior research director for privacy and security at Harvard University’s Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society. He also reminds that whomever you share your passwords with might not have “your best interest in mind when it comes to your security.” And by the way? That also goes for creating “easy to remember passwords” for your friends to use. Those are easy for the scumbags to break. Plus,those you are sharing with might also be closet-scum, and if you use the same password for everything, you’re REALLY screwed.
