Everyone with an iPhone knows how aggravating updates can be. Yeah, iOS14 has a fresh look with widgets (making it more like an Android system)...but, wait a minute! What happened to my Fortnite game?!! Hey... Yeah, there's a fight between Apple and Epic Games, the company behind Fortnite. And that's causing a LOT of angry iPhone customers.
Users are reporting that Fortnite is disappearing from their device after installing iOS 14. For some, the issue appears to be with devices that don’t have enough storage left for the update. So, if you've got your phone set to "off-load" unused apps and apps you haven't used in a while, your phone will go through that process in order to be able to download and install the iOS14 update. Then...you'll notice that the game is gone!
Here's a way around it. Use a site like Google Photos to store all of your photos and videos that are taking up space on your iPhone. Back up those photos then delete them from your phone (and remember to delete all the photos in the "recently deleted folder" or they will still be taking up space on your phone). Here's a few other ways to get the game back and where to find it in the app store...IF you've already downloaded it...
