Metallica held their second “Helping Hands” benefit concert over the weekend. The band performed from their headquarters in San Rafael, California, doing their usual acoustic set for the livestream event as well as a surprise electric set.
Metallica kicked things off with “Blackened,” the acoustic set featuring covers of Deep Purple, Bob Seger and more. As for the electric set, the band dished out their debut cover of “The House of the Rising Sun,” along with some classics like “Enter Sandman” and “Master of Puppets.”
There was also a charity auction at the virtual event, which once again benefitted the bands All Within My Hands charity foundation. Fans who missed the concert can rewatch the whole thing here...
