Some guys just take their golf game way too seriously and will do anything to save a few bucks in golf balls. Like this guy in Florida who should have just chalked this one up to a bad bounce. A Florida golfer was caught on video actually retrieving his ball from a particularly dangerous hazard, the tail of a large alligator. Kyle Downes said he and his brother were at the Coral Oaks Golf Course in Cape Coral on Sunday when a ball landed on the gator's tail. The good news is that they think the gator happened to be sleeping.
Downes shared the video showing his brother slowly sneaking up on the alligator to grab the ball off its tail. As soon as he grabs the ball, the suddenly startled alligator darts into the water. Apparently, the alligator in the video has been spotted before and has been nicknamed "Charlie" by golfers in the area.
