Iowa is the best state to drive in! That's according to a new study by WalletHub ranking all 50 states based on 31 key indicators of a positive commute. WalletHub says Iowa ranks in the top 10 in three individual categories, including share of rush hour traffic congestion, cost of ownership and maintenance, and traffic and infrastructure. None of Iowa's bordering states rank in the top 10 overall.
In case you're curious, Illinois ranked #13. WalletHub says the worst state for driving is Hawaii...but who cares, you're in Hawaii for crying out loud! A full list of states is available here.
